Frequently Asked Questions

• Do I need to choose my project & project colors before I arrive? 

All of our workshops require pre-registration so we have time to create your project before you arrive. You choose your project during registration and you customize your project with your choice of color wash, paint color & techniques used while at the studio.

• What can I change on the projects shown on project pages?

Besides the colour aspect already mentioned, many of our projects also have a personalization aspect. With these, you can typically add your own last or first name or other specific information relevant to that project. Unfortunately other wording, images, font sizes or styles cannot be changed. Projects with a personalization aspect will be stated as so in the product description.

• How long does a workshop last?

​Workshop projects take 1.5 to 2.5 hours to complete.

• Can I sit with my friends?

If you would like to sit by someone else registering for the same class please list in comment section during registration. We will do our best to sit you at the same table but occasionally this is not possible due to size of projects etc.

 

• Can I work on my project with someone else?

Unfortunately it is one person per project due to a limited number of seats & fire safety codes. We are unable to admit anyone who is not registered for a project with the exception of individuals who require a care worker or assistant.

 

• Is there an age requirement to participate in a workshop?

You must be 16 years old to participate in a workshop .

 

• What do I wear?

We recommend you wear clothing you do not mind getting dirty as color wash & paint is being used throughout the workshop. We do provide aprons to help.

 

• Can we bring our own food &  drinks?

Certainly, we want you to feel at home while you work on your project. Space on your table may be limited, though. Alcoholic beverages are only permitted for private workshops.

 

• Do you offer refunds?

Due to the custom nature of our studio, registration fees and project purchases are non-refundable.  Projects not completed or product not picked up at the workshop will only be kept for a period or 60 days from the original booking or order. Cancellation due to weather events or shutdown due to Covid restrictions will have registrations re-booked to another date or projects prepared as a do-at-home-kit.  

Due to staffing, we reserve the right to cancel workshops if attendance is below 6 attendees.

 

• Are there any risks involved with a workshop?

Precautions need to be taken as we may be working with drills, hammers, screws, nails, sandpaper, glue, resin, glass & paints.
